Who is katniss prep team

Hunting in the woods with Gale, Katniss is at her most alive. She and Gale nurture their relationship and almost go back to the way things were in the Meadow, except there is an ongoing tension between them. Katniss fights for her prep team; Gale burns with anger, reminding Katniss that they were the ones who prepared her for slaughter in the arena. Although Katniss is happy hunting with Gale, this continuing discord between them demonstrates to Katniss that their relationship can never return to how it was initially.

The image of tying knots in a rope, introduced in this chapter with Finnick, is a recurring symbol throughout the novel. For Finnick, the rope helps him hang onto reality, but these knots also represent the ongoing weaving and winding of identities, confusions, and distrust that occur between different characters as the novel progresses.

Before the actual games, the prep team works on their tribute numerous times for different events, such as the chariot rides , interviews , the Games, the Victory Tour , and other important public appearances.

The prep team usually works on preparing the body of the tribute by removing body hair, bathing the tribute, working on their hair and also adding make-up, and nails. Their jobs can change depending on what their head stylist thinks. The finishing touches and presentation of the tribute's outfit is done by the head stylist. Cinna also created Katniss' clothes and armor for public appearances after the Games.

Shortly after the 75th Hunger Games , the stylists and prep teams of every tribute were ordered by President Snow to be killed, due to the 24 tributes finishing off the interviews by holding each other's hands, an act of rebellion.
