Can you put uncooked rice in a crockpot

Am I missing something here? There is no indication of how long to cook. Are you suggesting I use the same time in the package instructions as if I was boiling the rice on the stove? So sorry for the mix up. If you are looking for rice recipes below are a few. The reason I wrote the post was for those that struggle with rice recipes not turning out well.

Just a guess. If you do it, let me know how much water and time it ends up needing! I have a slow cooker but no rice cooker — had no idea I could make rice in it! I usually make rice low and slow and add water, risotto style. Same here! Max twenty minutes, not two and a half hours! You make one part rice to two parts water, stir until boiling and then turn the heat down and cover. Cook until the water is gone. I love this!
